30.8.2011 New Wintech sales agency in China
It has been agreed, that Wuxi Refine-tech will represent
Wintech's
products and services in China. Mr. Liang Jianwu and Mr. Li Hongwei are
more than willing to help customers in China regarding roll grinding
and roll finishing. .
12.4.2011 Finishing service of ceramic center roll cover
Wintech has now new services to offer for our customers. We finished a
big (dia 1600 x 10 000 mm) ceramic covered center roll on the
shop floor of customer's workshop. The work took totally 2
days.
Through our service the customer avoided disassembly and
assembly of the roll (weight almost 100 000 kg) and sending it
to
grinding.

19.7.2010 New organization and ownership for Wintech
The former Managing director Sampo Viitanen is not any more owner of
the company and has stopped working in Wintech as well. We wish him
luck in the future challenges.

1.6.2010 Wintech at Zellcheming
Wintech will participate Zellcheming Expo in Wiesbaden 29.6 - 1.7.2010.

14.4.2010 Another Wintech success story: Parenco thermo rolls on-site finishing
Wintech has made two times on-site finishing for Nordske Skog Parenco in Netherlands. Both times two tungsteen covered calender thermo rolls were finished to roughness Ra 0,04 (mirror) in 24 hours shutdown. Only 2 µm of the cover was removed. The work was done with Wintech's equipment and professional personnel.
13.1.2010 New product from Wintech: WinHeavyBK barring removal equipment!
WinHeavyBK looks quite similar to traditional WinHeavy superfinishing
head, and it will be installed into the carbon fiber beam in the same
way. Now it is possible to prolong the lifetime of a polymer roll with
barring problem. Maximum allowed deformation of the roll's roundness is
normally 0,03 ... 0,05 mm, and then it has to be taken off the machine
and ground in the roll grinder. Now we may bring the roundness with
finshing in the papermachine to the level ca. 0,01 mm or less. The time
needed for this will be only slightly longer than normal finishing.

1.12.2009 New product line for Wintech: roll grinder modernizations
Wintech is starting to offer modernizations for roll griders. The target of the new product line is to reach real efficiency improvement to customers' grinding process. 27.8.2009 Successful startup of WinSchleif band grinding equipment
Wintech had a best possible startup of a WinSchleif band grinding equipment for a roll grinder in a Finnish papermill.
After 1,5 days installation work of equipment, the first roll to be ground was a SymSizer roll with very demanding CoteFalcon 55 P&J polyurethane cover. Instead of former ca. 100 hours grinding time the roll was ground in 11 hours, so reduction in grinding time was almost 90%. Expected time savings with rubber covers are 60 %
29.7.2009 Kari Koirikivi joined the Wintech team
Mr. Koirikivi has started to work as a Product manager in the area of roll grinding products. His main responsibilities are sales work especially in Scandinavia and Far East (China and South-Korea) and development of new roll grinding products. He is also co-owner of the company.
It was also decided, that Mr. Sampo Viitanen is responsible for the sales also in Thailand and Indonesia.
2.6.2009 Wintech at Zellcheming
Wintech will participate Zellcheming Expo in Wiesbaden June 23-25.2009. You may find us at the stand of company "Petax".
20.4.2009 Expanding of Wintech's sales agent network
Wintech has made sales agreement with several agents in Europe. We are pleased to inform, that now also Fanel Solutions in France, Pamatek in Netherlands, Troppan Consulting in Austria and Sotgar in Spain represent Wintech's products.
16.2.2009 Winheavy in-machine equipment started
World's first in-machine finishing equipment had a successfull start in an European paper mill. It was installed in Metso's Optiload off-machine supercalender. Installation, start-up and finishing of two (2) thermo rolls to smoothness Ra 0,08 took one working day! For more information, don't hesitate to contact us!
